Just a quick update- last Tuesday was Annistyn's six week birthday. I did some fun pictures of her on Wednesday. I wanted to use these colors, so I could blow one up or make a collage for my kitchen (since it's blue with brown accents). Anyway, I found this fabric at Singers and thought it would look cute. Annistyn's blue and brown tutu was way too big. We'll save it for later! All of Annistyn's pictures are on her shutterfly website: http://annistyncaroline.shutterfly.com. Here are some of my favorites:

A Bargain, A Beach Babe, and A Bad Mood
I'm trying to get a little better at writing interesting titles! I really enjoy writing, so maybe I can start trying to be a little more creative and make this thing more interesting!
Well, first of all- I'm behind- what's new?? Annistyn weighed 7 lb. 7 ounces at her 1 month check-up on Tuesday. After that, we went to Lulu's to buy the left-over Easter clothes for next year. They were all 50% off- so I bought two really cute outfits for what I would have paid for just one. This was one of them:
And this is the ADORABLE white tutu outfit she wore on Tuesday. The pictures just don't do it justice. It really did make her look like a little angel:
Oh! And also on Tuesday- Annistyn got her first Vera Bradley purse. It's the smallest one they have. I ordered the one to match her diaper bag:
Yesterday Annistyn made her first trip to the beach. We went with my mom and Shelley. We didn't actually go on the beach. We just rode to Destin for the day and ate shrimp (yum!) and shopped a little. Annistyn really loves to be on the go. She was great during the car ride and during the shopping trip. I can tell she's going to be a shopaholic like her mommy. Here are some pictures of her in her smocked whale dress that she wore. I actually was able to get one of her and big brother Finley:
Speaking of Finley, I got this cute picture of him and his "morning hair". This is what he looks like when he rolls out of bed about 10 am:
This picture pretty much descrices today:
Annistyn was really grouchy all morning. She eventually settled down and I was able to get a couple good pictures.
Well, that's all for now. Hopefully I won't get running behind again. We are off to the Calico Fort arts and crafts fair tomorrow. Have a festive weekend!

Our Baby is 1 Month Old Today....
1 month ago I saw our sweet little angel for the first time and then had to watch as they hooked her up to the CPAP and IV and all that other mess in NICU. I thought we would NEVER get to hold her again and bring her home. I can't believe it's already been a month! She has changed so much just in that short period of time!!!! I know she will continue to change so fast and one day I will be getting her ready for her first day of kindergarten and wondering how time flew by so fast. I have really been thinking lately about how quickly time flies by and how precious every moment is. I don't want to look back and regret not stopping to enjoy all of the blessings in our life. We have been so blessed and it could all be taken away anytime. We really don't deserve any of it either. It just goes to show you how great (and forgiving) our God really is. Okay, now that I've let all that out- I want to share the official "1 Month" picture of Miss Annistyn, her presents for her "birthday", and some more pictures of her I've taken the last few days.
Her Gifts:
Notes about this month: Annistyn can hold her head up for a pretty good while, turn it from side to side on her tummy, and "scoot" on her tummy. I thought that was kind of weird since she's so little- but that little girl is strong! I put her on her tummy mat and she moved her self all the way to the end of it!
She loves to hold things in her hands, play in my hair, look at lights, mirrors, Finley Dog, and toys. She knows our voices and will focus on our faces. She has little curls coming up on the back of her head. She loves being "bounced", going for walks, and riding in the car. She sleeps 5-6 hours at night without waking up. And lastly- and most importantly- her mommy and daddy are completely in love with her!!!!
Annistyn also wants to give a shout out to her Daddy who is turkey hunting tomorrow!
And I promise this is the last picture (for today). I bought this festive sunsuit off Ebay for $7.00 and monogrammed it. I thought she looked really cute in it!
Well- it's time for bed! I will be back later this weekend with pictures of Annistyn's first Easter! Hope everyone has a wonderful Easter weekend!!!!

4 Weeks
I didn't get a chance to update yesterday- which was Annistyn's 4 week birthday. She hasn't had a real good week! We switched her to soy based formula last week- which helped a lot. I had milk alergies, as well as my sister, mom, aunt, grandma, etc... so we knew it might be a problem for her also. We had 2 REALLY good nights, but the last two nights I have had to put her in her carseat and drive her around to get her to sleep. It usually only takes 20 minutes. If you live in Woodlands- I am your new neighborhood watch patrol officer. I usually drive down the road and loop through there and then head back home. You may see me driving through there anywhere from 11-2 a.m. I usually only do that as a last resort. I'd love for her to learn to go to sleep by herself- but hey- you do what you have to do! After a drive she will sleep for 3-5 hours. Yesterday she screamed almost all day. She has never done that before-she was fine as long as I held her, but the second I put her down she started screaming. So... my arm was kind of numb this morning from carrying her around all day. Today was better though. I actually left her for the first time. Mom and I went on a 3 mile walk from my Nana's house and Nana rocked her while I was gone almost an hour. I know I need to practice leaving her every now and then so when I go back to work I won't go completely crazy. Anyway- here are a few pictures from this week:

I'll be doing her "official" 1-month photo shoot Friday or Saturday- so stay tuned...
