Today was a busy day!!! I had an eye doctor appt. in Opp at 11:00. At 12:00, I was STILL sitting in the waiting room. So I missed having lunch with a friend and didn't end up leaving there until 1:00. Since I thought I was staying for lunch, I took Annistyn with me. She was a very good girl. We played a while in the waiting room and then she napped and then she entertained everyone while they checked my eyes. I had wanted to do some more tutu pictures, but she took her long afternoon nap when we got home. When she woke up, I took just a few. I love taking pictures of her sitting in her glider in her room. The light comes in just perfect and she thinks she is a big girl sitting up in it. I didn't put her hairbow on her for these, but YES she wore her pink hairbow when we were out earlier.
The first one is her new thing. She pulls her head up from whatever it's against. Driving down the road that's all I can see now is her pulling her head trying to lift it off her carseat.
Here are a few of my sweet Finley dog who will be staying at Donna's Doggie Daycare while we are gone:
Donna is WONDERFUL if you ever need somewhere to leave your doggie. She kept Finley while we were in the hospital with Annistyn. Everytime we called she was playing with him. Once he was even in her house! She is great!
He is such a good doggie too. He loves his little sister. He lays in front of her bed everyday during naptime like he's protecting her. I will miss him this week!!!!
I plan on taking the laptop to the beach, so hopefully I can get some pictures up throughout the week. My Nana would be really disappointed if I didn't!!!!

Heads up!
I finally got a decent picture of Annistyn pushing up. She actually can go up a lot higher than this, but everytime she does- I don't have the camera with me. Today I put her on our bed for her nap. She was really ill because she missed her late morning short nap, so she definitely needed the afternoon one. Of course, she was soooo sleepy until I put her on the bed. Then she thought it was playtime again. And of course, Finley had his head peeking over the other end. Once she saw him she got all excited and started smiling and pushing up. So my small camera was on the night stand and I grabbed it really quickly. Here she is:
I eventually put her in her bed- or Pack-n-Play- and she gave it up and went to sleep:
I had to wake her up she slept so long.
Tonight I packed some of her things for the beach. I think I might as well be taking the whole house. I gave up on the suitcases and pulled out laundry baskets. There is so much more stuff to pack since I'm taking her with us! We are leaving Tuesday, so tomorrow will be a busy day. Well, I'll leave you with a couple pictures from this morning after church. Doesn't she just get cuter every day?!?

Happy First Father's Day to My Husband
I know it's not Father's Day until Sunday- but since the weekend will be busy, I wanted to get this up today so Michael will have a chance to read it. First of all, I just wanted to say a few things. I know that Michael is not my father, but since our sweet little girl can't speak for herself (in a way we understand), I wanted to do it for her. If you don't really know my husband, if you've only been around him a few times, you probably think he is "quiet" or "dry" because he may not talk that much unless he knows you well. Sometimes he is quiet at home, too. It just depends on his mood! But he is a good Daddy. I know that I really don't pay him the amount of attention I should now that we have a new addition. And I am sure that I don't say this enough, I've probably never said it all, but I LOVE and APPRECIATE him more than I ever have. On the night Annistyn was born, I was unsure if Michael would make it through the labor. But he was right there the whole time holding my hand. He was a fantastic coach. After she was born and they took her to NICU- I could barely hold myself together. But he not only helped me keep it together, he was down in NICU every chance we could be, holding Annistyn's hand, talking to her, and even calling the specialists in when we felt like we weren't getting anywhere. When she was eating every 3 hours, he took one of the night shifts so that I could get a little rest. Every night he is in our kitchen washing bottles and mixing formula for the next day. I would definitely be lost without him. He always takes time after work to visit with Annistyn- talking to her and playing with her. She lights up when she sees him. And he definitely a sport about carrying around her pink Vera Bradley diaper bag. He doesn't even complain about it. Most of you will never see this side of him, but I just wanted to let him know how wonderful I think he is. I thank God every day for letting him be a part of my life. Annistyn is lucky to have him as her Daddy and I am lucky to have his as my husband. First of all, we'd like to present him with a poem that I helped Annistyn write for him:
I know I've kept you up some nights
Especially the first few weeks
I know you feel like you are always washing bottles
Or mixing milk for me to drink.
Sometimes I cry for hours at night
During your favorite TV shows
Sometimes I scream on the ride home
For reasons no one knows.
I know sometimes you probably feel silly
Holding my pink diaper bag
I know you think it’s crazy
To have all the clothes I have.
But I hope that you’ll remember
How fast the years fly by
Soon I’ll be walking
And talking all the time
Right now you’re just worried
About spit up and baby drool
But before you know it,
You’ll be dropping me off at school.
Right now it seems your greatest task
Is getting me to sleep all night long
But in the blink of an eye
I’ll be bringing boys home.
Right now you’re just trying
To get me to talk and smile
But sooner than you think
You’ll be walking me down the aisle.
I know that you don’t understand
My “goos” and “ooo”s and “ann”s
And I haven’t quite figured out
How to reach out and grab your hand
I’m not able to give you kisses
I don’t know how to give you hugs
But I hope that you still know
How very much you are loved.
Love, Annistyn
And now, as a tribute to her Daddy, Annistyn would like to present him with a music video. Please make sure you have your speakers on!

Beach Bound
When I dressed Annistyn in her new little pink bubble suit today, I realized that she had a cute beach hat that matched perfectly. So of course, I had to put it on her. She looked so darn cute- I just had to take some pictures and she has turned into quite a little ham. When I get the camera out she just smiles and makes faces at me. So here is my little beach babe- modeling her attire for our beach trip next week:
Also today, after I laid both kids down for their afternoon nap (yes Finley and Annistyn nap together in the afternoon), I had some "Mommy time" and I chose to play with some Photoshop things I'd been working on. Here are two of my recent ones:

Okay- enough for today! Have a good weekend! :)

Blog and Life Changes
Well- first of all.... I'm sure you noticed the new blog design. I think everyone, like me, was tired of the old green and black. I wanted something a little more cheerful for summertime- so I liked this background, but I had to make a new header for it. Anyway- that about sums up the "Blog Changes". Oh, by the way, I added the title of our blog to our header this time. Some of you may not have ever noticed it in the blue box at the top of your screen. It is named "The Pages of Our Life". And just in case you were wondering why- you are looking at a web "page" and we are the "Page" family. Thus, the "Pages" of our Life. Just wanted to clear that up in case you thought it was silly! It is kind of corny- but I put some thought into it. Sounds more exciting than "The Page Family" anyway.
Okay- Life Changes!!! Here are the pictures from Baccalaurate and Graduation. Here are a few from Baccalaurate-
Annistyn sleeping during the service:
Daddy holding Annistyn afterwards...Doesn't he look like the secret service???
Shelley:
And here's a few from graduation-
All of us- Chad, Kelly, Shelley, Me, Annistyn, and Michael. Mom took it at an angle so it looks kind of weird.
Annistyn deciding to yawn right when the picture is being taken:
Me, Shelley, and Chad:
Shelley- all grown up in cap and gown.
Just wanted to share those pictures! Today me, Mom, and Annistyn shopped in Dothan- so I am POOPED and I'm about to go to bed. More pictures to share later!

Annistyn's Adventure
Annistyn just wanted to share the pictures of her adventure in her Bumbo seat. It was the first time she has sat in it. She holds her head up most of the time, but she gets tired easily and gets a little wobbly. I knew she wouldn't be able to sit in it for long- I think it lasted about 5 minutes. I just wanted to try it out. I think she liked it. She REALLY likes sitting up.
Here are a couple more pictures of her making faces at me.
She has definitely developed quite the personality!
