We've Arrived at Five...

Happy 5-Month Birthday to my little angel!!!



Annistyn has grown up so much this month.
This month she...
...has eaten pears, bananas, apple sauce, and peaches.
...started sitting up by herself- and gets stronger every time!








...LOVES to talk and does it ALL the time. Her babbling sounds a little more like words. She squeals and laughs a lot. She's really silly sometimes!
...likes to look at her feet, Finley, the TV, and pretty much anything that moves.
...loves anything with taggies- especially her "taggipillar" toy.
...DEFINITELY knows her Mommy and Daddy and knows the difference between people she sees a lot and strangers. (She actually smiles and hides her face against me sometimes when a stranger talks to her- like she's shy or something.)
...still loves pappy- but likes her hands just as much.
...LOVES to play in any of her three Exersaucers.
...wants to feed herself with her spoon.
...holds her bottle by herself (but Mommy helps keep it high enough).
...rolls over a lot.
...rolls to her back and plays and talks in bed in the mornings when she wakes up instead of crying.
...likes standing up.
...is ALMOST crawling. She does what we call the snake-belly toe crawl.








...wants to walk a lot more than she wants to crawl. If we hold her hands she moves her feet like she's walking. She loves for us to help her "walk".
...sits in a high chair.
...has started reaching a little when she wants to go to someone.
...weighs around 13 lbs. and is 25 inches long- skinny everywhere but her thighs.
...has dark brown hair (getting short curls) and her eyes are getting a little greener.
...uses her left hand the most.
...still wears some 0-3 month clothes. The 3-month size is the best fit right now. She's really narrow through the shoulders.
...wears size 2 diapers.

Her hand-eye coordination has grown unbelievably this month. She is now grabbing EVERYTHING and putting ANYTHING she grabs in her mouth. I know I probably left some other things out, but this month has been such a busy month. I think she does something new EVERY day!

One thing hasn't changed- she is still the LOVE of our lives! I can't imagine what we did before her or what we'd do without her!
