End of '10

I did a timeline at the end of last year and I wanted to do one again. I was thinking- it really won't be very detailed because it hasn't been an extremely eventful year.

Silly me! As I started glancing through pictures I realized exactly how much HAS changed since last year.

I guess I forgot that my little girl was definitely still a baby at the beginning of the year.

So as I prepare to say goodbye to 2010....

Our Year At a Glance.....

Annistyn is in her first beauty pageant and wins! Yay! She did 2 others throughout 2010 and placed 2nd alternate in one, and won the other. She won photogenic in all 3.

My personal highlights of 2010....
Home business really picks up, lost weight from having Annistyn, celebrated 4 years of marriage to my sweet husband, started my 4th year of teaching (and got tenured!), went to my first Iron Bowl, saw Garth Brooks perform, and celebrated both my parents' 50th birthdays.

I began this year with a baby who was taking a few steps. I am ending with a little girl who runs, skips, jumps, and climbs, uses the potty, counts to 10, knows her ABC's, can tell you EVERYTHING you want/don't want to know about Dora, knows all her shapes/colors, says bedtime prayers, talks in sentences, and says "I love Mommy". She was saying a few words last January and tonight she ran to her Daddy after getting dressed yelling, "Daddy!!! I look cute!!!!!" She instructed Finley on how to get in his doggie room so that we could go. She got big girl panties this week. She is showing me how to "cook" and have tea parties in her new pink kitchen, dancing to Dora (like no 2 year old should know how to dance), and playing "doctor" with her pink doctor kit. Oh how the year flew by and how quickly she grew up in only 12 months.

Goodbye 2010!

I can only pray that 2011 holds as much happiness and love as we have experienced this past year!

Onto Four....And More...

I set out on a narrow way, many years ago
Hoping I would find true love along the broken road

But I got lost a time or two
Wiped my brow and kept pushing through
I couldn't see how every sign pointed straight to you

Every long lost dream led me to where you are

Others who broke my heart, they were like northern stars
Pointing me on my way into your loving arms
This much I know is true

That God blessed the broken road
That led me straight to you

I think about the years I spent, just passing through
I'd like to have the time I lost, and give it back to you

But you just smile and take my hand
You've been there, you understand
It's all part of a grander plan that is coming true

Every long lost dream led me to where you are
Others who broke my heart, they were like northern stars
Pointing me on my way into your loving arms
This much I know is true

That God blessed the broken road
That led me straight to you

But now I'm just rolling home into my lover's arms
This much I know is true

That God blessed the broken road
That led me straight to you

That God blessed the broken road
That led me straight to you

4 years ago today I married the love of my life at 6:07 p.m.

I love you, Michael!
Thank you for the best four years of my life!

Love, Shae
